Founder’s Story

The inspiration behind Wuzees® stems from a deeply personal and persistent challenge. Our founder, Robby McClure, watched his wife and youngest daughter endure severe motion sickness during every family trip, fueling his determination to find a real solution. Robby embarked on a mission to understand the science behind motion sickness, diving deep into research on how the eyes, brain, and inner ear work together.

Robby consulted extensively with doctors and ophthalmologists to better understand how the eyes and inner ear work together to regulate balance and perception. His research also delved into techniques like binasal occlusion, a method used to block part of the visual field in order to reduce conflicting sensory signals that contribute to motion sickness. These insights formed the foundation of Wuzees®.

Today, Wuzees® stands as an innovative and natural solution, providing relief to individuals who struggle with motion sickness. is a technique used to reduce strain on the visual system, which can improve your gait and balance. Wuzees® utilizes this technique along with our lens technology and removes a portion of our vision where the images from the two eyes overlap; this reduces visual ‘background’ noise. This helps our eyes to work independently, rather than struggling to work together.
